Established in 2011 by Shane Hofstee, we are a Margaret River based building company specialising in, but not limited to architecturally designed timber frame homes built in the Margaret River Region.
We pride ourselves on a high level of job supervision and our projects are characterised by exceptional quality construction delivered in a realistic time frame.
Working closely with the client and building designer as well as utilising the relationships we’ve fostered with trusted local tradesman we’ll ensure a unique home that reflects the lifestyle of this beautiful region.
SHANE HOFSTEE
Director & Registered Builder
A Margaret River local, Shane loves everything about living and working in the South West of WA.
His broad range of building knowledge began while working for a number of respected local builders over 10 years, from apprentice carpenter to finally becoming a registered builder himself at the age of 26.
His determination and passion for all aspects of the building trade led to the beginning of Black Point Construction (named after his favourite place). Shane and his like-minded team of qualified local tradesman pride themselves on their exceptional quality and high level of job supervision across all projects.
SARAH BELL
Office Manager
Sarah works alongside her partner Shane in the office, with a back ground in Property Management and Interior Design it is a role that she has fallen into.
Together they have designed and built 5 homes and that understanding of the building process shows in her dealings with clients, suppliers and contractors alike.
